Wisconsin Budget Repair Bill | America's Breaking Local And World News

AmericasNewsNow.com | Breaking News- Wisconsin Teachers Walkout On Students Protest For More Money- On the third day of their walkout, Wisconsin teachers continue to protest the new state budget by refusing to show up for work. In the meantime, Wisconsin students fall further behind the Chinese and the rest of the world. What other job on the planet can you not show up for 3 days and not get fired?

Democrats who support the unions are not helping the matter; all of them refused to show up for the vote. As a result, state police went to the house of the democrat minority leader to drag him to the state house to vote. The obvious question is, why don’t the democrats show up and just vote against the bill? At that point they are fulfilling their political obligations why still supporting their constituents.

The Wisconsin teachers and democrats have a problem with the budget because it’s asking teachers to pay for a larger percentage of their health insurance and contribute more to their retirement plans. What the teachers fail to realize is that the private sector goes through these adjustments every year. If a small company has employees that end up costing their insurance plan a lot of money, the next year all employee insurance premiums will go up. Contributions to retirement plans fluctuate as well. Rather than submit to the process just like the private sector has to, the teachers have walked out of the classroom to hold the families of the state of Wisconsin hostage. On top of that, the Whitehouse is showing their support of the unions by busing in 25,000 protestors. Since when is it the Whitehouse’s job to meddle in state budgets?

Whatever happens in the next few days should be very interesting. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on the Wisconsin teachers walking out of the classroom? What do you think of the democrats not showing up to vote and the Whitehouse busing in protestors? Leave your comments below.
