AmericasNewsNow.com | Breaking News-Did Obama Order Gadhafi killed? In a video shared with AmericasNewsNow.com, a reporter tours a Ghadafi compound in Tripoli that was reportedly bombed by U.S. forces. While some of Ghadafi’s opposers may cheer this action, in 1976 President Gerald Ford signed a law that prevents assassination of heads of state through covert means. In 2001, the U.S. decided it was OK to go after terrorists.

Is Bombing of gadhafi Compound an Assassination Attempt?

So where does the recent bombing of Gadhafi‘s compound fall? Sure he has targeted his people and Obama said he wanted Gadhafi out. But according to one witness in the video, this is the same compound that was bombed by the U.S. in 1981 that killed Gadhafi’s daughter. So was this most recent attempt an assassination attempt or just a military strike that happened to land on Gdhafi’s home? At least one witness blamed the U.S. for getting involved in Middle East affairs–something Obama has clearly tried to stay out of. So does this attack on the Libyan leader give the U.S. more credibiilty or less in the Middle East?

Does Bombing gadhafi Compound Help U.S. in Middle East?

Tell us what you think of the bombing of Gadhafi’s home. Did Obama try to assassinate him or does Gadhafi need to be taken out that badly? Is the bombing of Gadhafi’s compound  considered an assassination attempt? If so, is it OK for terrorists to try to take out our heads of state?
