Rioters and protestors continue today in the streets of Cairo even after President Mubarak announced last night that there would be sinificant changes and his government would step down. It is unclear what exactly that means, but President Mubarak’s speech made it sound as if he wished to stay in power.

It is clear now that the citizens of Egypt will not stop until they get their way. Yesterday, President Obama urged the government of Egypt to deal peacefully with the protestors and to restore the internet.

The Cairo, Egypt protests do not appear to have an end in sight short of President Mubarak declaring a resignation for himself. One alternative form of Egyptian leadership seems to be the Muslim Brotherhood. Some reports say the brotherhood is not supportive of the Israeli state which could be cause for concern for the U.S. In the meantime, watch the Cairo Egypt protests below from Nile TV as we wat to see if President Mubarak will resign.
