In his response, Paul claims that government continues to assert itself as the answer for the middle class with a budget crisis on the horizon and no way to pay for it.

Senator Rand Paul’s response makes it clear that the two parties are still not united. On the left, democrats claim the right is trying to take away health care from the middle class. On the right, republicans say liberals have no way to pay for their big hopes and dreams like Obamacare.
