UFC Fight For The Troops-Live On Spike TV. Since the troops fight for us, the UFC and Dana White will attempt to return the favor and put on a free night of fights for the troops. While the UFC fighters aren’t quite putting their lives at risk like the U.S. military does, it’s the thought that counts.
UFC Fight for the Troops will air live on SPike TV Saturday night January 22nd at 9pm est. The main event is the quick and dangerous Melvin Guillard taking on the tenacious Evan Dunham. Also on the card will be former NFL football player Matt Mitrione taking on Tim Hague. The tough but gangly Cole Miller will go up against Matt Wiman and the Alaskan Assassin Cody McKenzie makes another showing against Yves Edwards. UFC’s Fight For the Troops will take place in Ft. Hood, Texas. Fort Hood is the location where the army officer went on a shooting rampage last year and killed 12 and injured 31.
