Americas News Now News Story-Keith Olbermann Leaves MSNBC-Makes Believers Out Of Conservatives. Keith Olbermann makes his farewell speech to his dwindling audience today on MSNBC. Playing up his accomplishments, Olbermann reminisces his fledgling television career as he thanks some of his colleagues on his road to martyrdom.
Olbermann resigning from MSNBC gives conservatives, such as those loyal to Fox News, hope that the left-wing media can only support struggling liberals like Keith for so long before the tie has to be cut. Watching Olbermann was often times like watching old paint dry at the same time long fingernails scraped down a chalk board. Olbermann’s rants against the right are legendary if only for the tragic pain they caused his viewers.
Olbermann’s colleague, Rachel Maddow, while from the same breed of liberal ideology as himself, will bide her time as well. Perhaps MSNBC can subsidize Maddow a bit longer now that Olbermann’s dead weight has been abandoned. Maddow looked up to Olbermann in many ways and her leftist diatribes often mimicked Keith’s in substance (or lack thereof) as well as the pain and indigestion viewers felt from watching either of them.
Mr. Olbermann, your departure from MSNBC will leave your fans clammoring to fill the hollow void. Me on the other hand, I’ll sleep like a baby.
